neato - wait 15 years and they will be able to replace functions we didn't know could be replaced. seriously - this is wonderful for patients afflicted with diseases affecting this part of the brain but think of the possibilities .. muhahaaaa. eventually it's going to come down to 'just how much of the human brain can you replace and still be considered human?'
